(English below)

[AMDA Afghanistan Supporting Forcibly Repatriated Refugees]
AMDA, in collaboration with its Afghanistan chapter, has been providing assistance to refugees who have been forcibly repatriated from Pakistan and Iran.

According to the United Nations, more than 500,000 people were deported from Iran within just 16 days this summer, bringing the total number of deportations since the beginning of this year to approximately 1.5 million.

The Iranian government has declared its intention to expel around 4 million Afghan refugees residing illegally in the country.

Many of those who have been sent back have lost their money and belongings, leaving them in extreme destitution.

To support people facing such harsh conditions, AMDA Afghanistan has been delivering medical care and medicines through the Japan Afghanistan Friendship Hospital.
